Miracle Baby’s Arrival

In a previous post I shared how integrative fertility care shines for difficult cases—in this particular case it was my twin sister. Continuing his streak of synchronicity and attuning our eyes to the nature of things beyond our ken, my sister’s unlikely baby, her biggest gift, was born on Thanksgiving of 2020.

Of all the days to be born! After a long tough labor, we finally got the word that he was here. Best phone call of the year!!

High on all the details of her labor and this new being, I went for a walk in the neighborhood. I passed a ‘free box’ on a driveway, and found this title staring up at me:

In fertility work, there is so much uncertainty to weather. Sadness and loss go with the territory. And every so often everything aligns and the miraculous does occur. Here’s to the hard work, dedication, science, heart, and hope behind every miracle baby.
